The Tamahere Country Market is held in the St Stephen’s Church grounds, corner of Airport Rd and Tamahere Drive, (just off State Highway 1) on the third Saturday of each month.
Upcoming market days are November 21, December 19, and in 2010, January 16, February 20, March 20.
The popular market, near Hamilton, opens at 8.30am and runs until about 1pm. On offer is everything from organic produce to art and craft, local wine, collectibles, olive oil, woodwork, jewellery, glass art, cheese, bread, and great coffee.

EFTPOS is available but taking plenty of cash avoids the queue.
Plentiful parking is available on Tamahere Drive, at Johnson’s House Removals (entrance off Airport Rd) and on Devine Rd (access from the SH1 on ramp toward Hamilton).
